Photo #9- Roll up the last section of hair that you just cut. Now that the hair is all rolled up we can proceed to the finishing steps. Get a pot of water boiling and have your kitchen sink cleared out. Have a bowl of ice water handy. When your water is boiled place pot in sink and lay dolls head into the water. Make sure all the rods are covered. I find that Tonner doll hair usually take at least 60 seconds in the water. Less than that doesn't seem to set the curl properly. After the allotted time, remove the doll's head and dunk in the ice water to set the curls. When she has had her dunk in the ice water, remove her and blot off extra water with a towel. Photo #10- I unrolled the hair while it was still damp. The curls are exactly what I was looking for! Photo #11 shows the hair once it dried. I finger combed it and added gel to hold the style. Below is the completed doll.
