General OOAK 12" Doll Commission Information

Commission terms are non-negotiable.

I can provide a full repaint, hairstyling, and complete costume design. I specialize in Fantasy style dolls. This website can best show you what I am capable of.

Full Saran hair reroot now available. I only reroot Barbie dolls. Your choice of hair color, $85.00 for a full reroot, includes one color of hair. A mix or specialty request may cost more. Please allow 2-4 weeks as I will have to order the hair.

A basic repaint on Barbie or similar size doll is $65.00 on a doll you provide.

If I need to provide the doll, you will be required to send funds to cover the cost of the base doll to be repainted so I can purchase the doll. I purchase almost all dolls from eBay.

A 50% non-refundable deposit will also need to be paid before I can start repainting your doll.

This $65 cost includes simple hair restyling if desired. This means a hair cut, highlights, or simply styling. This does NOT include rerooting or replacement of factory hair with mohair.

If you require clothing for your repaint, I can purchase it on eBay for you, and this cost will be added to your total. Clothing available for male dolls is extremely limited and what you have in mind may not always be possible to locate. I am not a seamstress and while I can sew basic clothing, I cannot recreate jackets or suits or other complicated outfits. Any clothing needed will be an extra charge.

I cannot make couture, jackets, coats, hooded sweatshirts, slacks, or button down shirts with sleeves.

I understand that you want your doll to look like they did in a particular movie, however the odds of finding an exact match to the shirt or pants or dress they wore are very slim. The best option is to look for a close match in color and theme. Please understand there is nothing I can do to about this, as I am not a seamstress. While I can sometimes locate something close, or even make something close, I cannot duplicate with 100% accuracy your outfit request.

I am getting a lot of requests for Twilight Doll repaints with the exact same outfit the actor wore in the movie. Close is the best we can hope for. Thanks for understanding.

Customer is responsible for shipping and associated costs both ways. ( Insurance & Delivery Confirmation is strongly suggested when you send me a doll. )

Effective as of March 2009- Payment for all commission work must be paid by Money Order or Western Union only. I do NOT accept Paypal or personal checks.

****If final payment is not made within three weeks of completion of your doll, your deposit is forfeited and your doll will be sold. ****

You tell me what you have in mind. Be at detailed as possible, and if you have photos of the character you wish to recreate, it will be a lot easier for me to match your vision. I cannot copy anyone else's work so please do not ask me to make a doll like another artist has previously made. This does not apply to a general celebrity repaint as many artists will repaint the same celebrity in their own style.

I will keep you posted on the progress of your doll. Turn around time is 2 -3 weeks usually, sometimes less. I will purchase the doll I feel is most appropriate to your project vision.

The price of the doll I purchase will be added to your cost and is to be paid upfront.

Specialty dolls such as a celebrity repaint & OOAK custom sewn & designed costume start at $150 and maybe higher depending on the costume design, complexity and time involved.

An elaborately beaded and fancy CHER OOAK Custom doll starts at $175.00 due to the higher cost of the base doll and extra time involved. This includes a repaint and costume. If a reroot is needed, please add an additional $50 to the total.

Belly Dancers range from $145- $165.00 depending on the doll used and amount of detail involved.

Simple dolls such as a Gypsy or Fairy are $135.00 unless very detailed and extra props required by buyer.

More detailed and complicated to create dolls such as Warriors, Mermaids or any other specialty character prices start at $165.00 These dolls are usually very labor intensive and take substantially longer to create, and involve a greater amount of materials used. Any rerooting or specialty needs such as elaborate props will add to the cost and will have to be calculated.

Certificate of authenticity, and stand. Dolls are boxed for Priority Mail shipping with Insurance and Delivery and Signature confirmation. Shipping is $10.00 - USA orders ONLY. I do not ship dolls internationally unless payment is made in made 100% by Western Union.
